Book Review: The Innocent

The Innocent (Will Robie, #1)
The Innocent

The Innocent (Will Robie #1) by David Baldacci

I found this series thanks to a cross-over story between the Will Robie & Amos Decker series. I really enjoy these stories from Baldacci, especially in audiobook format. These are action packed, so it makes time spent doing chores or driving fly by. Will Robie is a clandestine assassin for the US government – a job that starts to go sideways and has set up a conspiracy within the government against Will and his team, which should lend itself to several stories within the series.

I gave this 5/5 stars and look forward to the next Will Robie story.

It begins with a hit gone wrong. Robie is dispatched to eliminate a target unusually close to home in Washington, D.C. But something about this mission doesn’t seem right to Robie, and he does the unthinkable. He refuses to kill. Now, Robie becomes a target himself and must escape from his own people.
